My husband and I literally fled on foot from our native border village in the Dergachiv district of the Kharkiv region.

"On February 24, I did not hear the first explosions - I slept through these terrible sounds. I woke up as usual, took a shower, went to the kitchen, turned on the TV..."

"The war started when I was four years old. I vaguely remember the year 2014, but I haven't forgotten it.
