The second grant program of the Foundation

During the difficult trials that our country is going through, the Vadym Stolar Charitable Foundation systematically supports the defenders of our state and civilians affected by military actions.

The second grant program of the Foundation

According to the decision of the grant committee of the Vadym Stolar Charitable Foundation, announced in January 2024, the winners of the second grant program were:


GO "Start with yourself!" with the project called "Start with yourself!"

The goal of the project is to create a safe space for psychological support and art therapy. The initiative is aimed at helping:

  • IDP families with children;
  • children of ATO participants, as well as those whose parents are at war.


Charitable organization "Strong and Unbreakable" Charitable Foundation with the project "Rehabilitation Cabinet at KNP MMR "Restorative Treatment Hospital"

The goal of the project is to create a rehabilitation office on the basis of the Myroniv Hospital for Rehabilitation Treatment. Such an office will make it possible to undergo rehabilitation:

  • veterans;
  • people with disabilities;
  • military, traumatized or wounded in the war.


Charitable organization "Good Deeds Together" Charitable Foundation with the project "Self-help: the mastery of stress resistance"

The goal of the project is to provide residents of Kharkiv and Kharkiv region with psychological support. The initiative is aimed at:

  • easing the moral and psychological state of civilians;
  • their development of self-help skills in stressful situations.

On October 4, 2023, the Foundation announced the start of the second grant program.


Applications for participation in it continued until November 18, 2023.

The purpose of the second grant program is financial support for the initiatives of public and charitable organizations aimed at the psycho-emotional recovery and physical rehabilitation of citizens in the following areas:

• educational projects related to teaching citizens the concept of mental health, mastering skills and knowledge regarding self-help in stressful situations;

• training of practicing psychologists to work with individual psychological disorders (depression, panic attacks, PTSD, etc.) to provide quality psychological assistance to those affected by the war;

• setting up rehabilitation centers and offices for the physical recovery of defenders who were wounded or otherwise injured in the combat zone, which led to the limitation of vital activities.

The total amount of the grant that can be received by program participants whose ideas meet its requirements is UAH 1 million.

Almost 100 participants applied for the second grant program.

5 organizations reached the final selection.

During the online meetings, the grant committee got to know the participant teams and their projects better.
