Vadym Stolar: Supporting small Ukrainians is a priority for us

The Vadym Stolar Charitable Foundation held a children's holiday on the occasion of Children's Day in the central square of Vyshhorod. The program of the celebration included everything necessary for a good mood of young Ukrainians: entertainment with animators, master classes and competitions. At the same time, this time we held an event in a completely new format, designed to instill in children a love of reading.

"Today, it is very difficult for all Ukrainians because of the armed aggression unleashed against us by Russia. But children who do not feel safe due to military operations, who see these horrors with their own eyes, experience them especially acutely, have the hardest time. In fact, our children are deprived of a normal, calm childhood, they often do not have the opportunity to get a quality education and simply have fun, - emphasized Vadym Stolar. - Therefore, it is important for our Foundation to support children as much as possible within the limits of the assistance we provide to civilians. This direction is among our priorities. A number of our projects, such as "Recover", as well as the organization of sports activities for children, are aimed at children and families with children. And in order to entertain and support young Ukrainians, with the help of the Foundation, we organized a big holiday in Vyshhorod for Children's Day."

The central part of the site arranged for the event consisted of a stage with decorations in the style of adventures from the fairy tale "Alice in Wonderland", which became the basis of the holiday, and 40 soft poufs for the audience, and a retro garland was placed above the stage and the improvised "hall". to create an appropriate atmosphere.

An hour before the start of the event, animators dressed as Alice and the Hatter walked around the square, inviting children and their parents to the performance.

"During the organization of the children's holiday, we at the Vadym Stolar Foundation decided that we wanted to give children unforgettable experiences, and therefore - we set ourselves the goal of offering a completely new format of children's leisure time. Based on this, as well as the idea of instilling a love of reading in children, we developed a really comprehensive program of an interactive event based on the well-known work of the great English writer Lewis Carroll "Alice in the Wild", said Foundation volunteer Nataliya Prykhodko.

In addition to the interactive complex event, young Ukrainians had other opportunities for entertainment on the platform prepared by the Vadym Stolar Foundation. In particular, there were points with cotton candy, lemonades, two locations with aqua grime, and a master class on making postcards and letters to our defenders was held. Also, at the climax of the holiday, one of the actors showed a magic show, and in the finale, the guests had the opportunity to take a photo with a three-meter inflatable rabbit. The children liked everything!

"As a mother of many children, I perfectly understand how much attention should be paid to children now. Because they are our future, the future of Ukraine. And while the enemy continues to shell and terrorize our cities, we unite and do everything to bring Victory closer," added Valeria Lebedeva, a volunteer of the Foundation.

The event was closely interwoven with an interactive theater performance, a live reading of a fairy tale by professional actors, a play library and other leisure elements.

"The main part of the holiday is the reading of a fairy tale by professional theater and film actors dressed in literary characters. During the reading by professional theater and film actors, animators were involved, in the end the fairy tale came to life and was transformed into a real performance. In separate scenes, the animators and actors involved the audience in the story, who themselves became the heroes of the performance," said the project's producer, Artur Tsyganok-Pyreri.

It should be noted that due to the tragic events of June 1 in the capital, the planned holiday had to be postponed. But in the end, we managed to spend it later, giving the children a festive mood, sincere smiles and carefree laughter.
