Ukrainian children received gifts from the Vadym Stolar Foundation as part of the "Light of Childhood" project

"Light of Childhood" is a festive project of the Foundation, launched in December 2022. Its goal is to support children and create a New Year's mood for them, even in the face of constant shelling and prolonged blackouts. This time the Foundation team visited Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv and Odesa. For security reasons, locations for the event were chosen near the equipped shelters.

"Our holiday project "Light of Childhood" is not only about sweet gifts, which we independently purchase, pack and deliver to different cities of Ukraine. During meetings with children, we also arrange a small holiday with the participation of animators, games in the fresh air, warm communication with children, which creates a real Christmas and New Year atmosphere for them",said Nataliya Prykhodko, a volunteer of the Foundation.

Gifts for the holidays were received by children from families helped by the Vadym Stolar Foundation: children of fallen defenders, captured and missing soldiers, as well as children from large and low-income families.

"Ukrainian children, like all children in the world, should grow up and enjoy life in a peaceful and safe country. And while our defenders are doing everything possible for this at the front, we, together with the Foundation team, are trying to add positivity to the lives of young Ukrainians. Seeing a happy child is priceless," said Vadym Stolar, founder of the Foundation.
