Vadym Stolar Foundation with LLC OENZHI SOLAR provided a kindergarten and a polyclinic with alternative energy sources

The Vadym Stolar Foundation financed equipment with alternative power sources for a kindergarten and a children's polyclinic located in the Kyiv region. The project was implemented together with the company LLC OENZHI SOLAR.

Installation and commissioning of solar stations with uninterruptible power supply systems on the basis of rechargeable batteries at these two infrastructure facilities were carried out at the Fund's expense.

"Due to enemy shelling of critical infrastructure, Ukrainians are constantly at risk of being left without central energy supply. The biggest risks here are for medical facilities, where uninterrupted power supply is critical to the operation of equipment that saves lives and supports the vital activities of critically ill patients. It is also important that kindergartens are constantly provided with electricity, so that little Ukrainians feel cozy, comfortable and safe. Therefore, the Vadym Stolar Foundation undertook the financing of works on the installation of alternative power systems at two relevant objects in Kyiv region - a kindergarten in Vyshgorod district and a children's polyclinic in Kyiv region, which was greatly helped by the OENZHI SOLAR company", The Foundation volunteer Nataliya Prykhodko said.

Valery Gerashchenko, an occupational safety engineer at the kindergarten, explained the principle of action and the advantages of the backup system.

"Such systems work as follows: when there is electricity in the network, they charge the batteries, when the light goes out , the staff does not even notice, the power is switched to batteries automatically, and they can work autonomously for about 4-5 hours. Thus, lighting, heating and drinking water remain in the kindergarten," the engineer said.

"It is obvious that russia will continue its attempts to destroy our energy infrastructure and we are in for a difficult winter. I understand that children especially need our attention and support in such difficult times. That is why together with the Foundation team and partners we implemented the project to provide back-up power supply to children's institutions", the founder of the Foundation Vadym Stolar summed up.
