The Vadym Stolar Charitable Foundation implements a project on learning the Ukrainian language

The Vadim Stolar Charitable Foundation, within the social and humanitarian direction of its work, will implement a permanent project on studying the Ukrainian language in September 2022, in which more than 700 participants have already joined.

"To be honest, learning the Ukrainian language is a somewhat personal issue for me. After all, I myself grew up in a Russian-speaking family, always thought and spoke in Russian. However, I believe that today every Ukrainian should be fluent in the state language. Therefore, I personally actively work on my language. And let there be enough mistakes for now, but I will continue to improve my mastery of it. I invite everyone who is not confident enough in their Ukrainian to join our courses!” - says the founder of the Foundation, Vadym Stolar.

"This is a project that is in demand today because after the large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, many Russian-speaking Ukrainians decided to switch to Nightingale. People sincerely want to start speaking and writing fluently in Ukrainian, but they are afraid of making mistakes - and therefore often postpone this decision. Others try to switch but realize that for the time being, they mostly turn out to be sorghum. It is for such fellow citizens that we launched a free online course on learning the modern Ukrainian language - the language of victory!" - emphasizes Nataliya Prykhodko, a volunteer of the Foundation.

As Dana Orbu, teacher and author of the Ukrainian language course, notes, this project is not only about the language, but also about the choice, about the consciousness of Ukrainians who, changing themselves, change Ukraine as well.

"I am glad to be a part of the Vadym Stolar Foundation team and the author of the course on language learning! Most of our listeners and participants are immigrants from the eastern part of the country, Russian speakers from birth. And now they communicate in Ukrainian, refuse Russian-language content, strive to get rid of the surzhik and already have their own language habits that they use every day. Actively perform practical tasks, interested in improving their speech, ask if something is unclear. Just remember how we wrote the dictation of Unity! Everyone joined in, really united, and this once again emphasizes that the course is not only about the language, but also about the unity, consciousness and indomitability of Ukrainians," the teacher emphasizes.

Lessons from the Ukrainian language are published in the project's Telegram chat three times a week in the format of short videos so that everyone who wants to can view the material at a time convenient for them.

In addition to videos, the course teacher systematically fills the chat with useful educational materials, publishes homework and tests, and actively communicates with participants.
