The Vadym Stolar Charity Foundation donated an innovative laser device to the municipal non-profit enterprise “Kyiv City Perinatal Center.” This was reported in a story by News Live.
The fractional MED-X Laser CO2 with an RF module, valued at over one million hryvnias, will be used for postpartum recovery care. Laser therapy helps make episiotomy and C-section scars more elastic, less painful, and almost invisible, while also restoring the tone of muscles and mucous membranes affected by stretching during childbirth.
“By supporting those who represent the beginning of the future, the Vadym Stolar Charity Foundation is providing modern medical equipment to the Kyiv City Perinatal Center. We hope this assistance will strengthen doctors’ capabilities in preserving women’s health and ensuring a safe start for every new life,” said Andrii Feshchenko, Director of the Vadym Stolar Foundation.
The Perinatal Center explained that the donated equipment allows doctors to quickly and safely treat conditions that previously required full surgical procedures under anesthesia.
“Thanks to the Vadym Stolar Foundation, today we received unique equipment that will allow us not only to restore and improve women’s health, but also to positively influence the demographic situation in Ukraine as a whole,” added Dmytro Hovsieiev, Director of the Perinatal Center.
It is worth noting that the donated device complies with all European Union safety standards and has been approved for use by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
“Supporting medical institutions is an important area of the Foundation’s systematic work, especially during wartime, when the burden on the healthcare system has increased significantly,” said Vadym Stolar, founder of the Foundation.
