“‘How are you? Is everyone safe?’ — we kept writing to our loved ones throughout the night, while somewhere very close, the sky over our peaceful cities was being torn apart by loud explosions.

Knowing that severe weather was sweeping across Ukraine, the enemy once again launched a treacherous attack. To destroy our homes, to leave Ukrainian families without light and warmth in the bitter cold. To make exhaustion, fatigue, and despair finally overcome our resilience.

We bow deeply to the warriors who bravely repelled this massive enemy attack. And we embrace all our people whose hearts are now filled with pain.

And we sincerely ask you: Ukrainians, dear ones, please hold on. Preserve warmth in your homes, take care of those beside you who may be struggling more right now. Support one another with words, with hugs, with your presence.

We believe that we will endure. Because even in darkness, we remain light and warmth for one another. Because any trial — even the hardest one — eventually comes to an end. Stay strong!
