Elimination of the consequences of the occupation: how the Foundation team helps the residents of Kyiv region

Took part in clearing rubble in the village of Bohdanivka, Brovar district.

Bohdanivka was under occupation for about a month, but the consequences are still being eliminated.

We decided to join the liquidation of the consequences in order to restore the village as soon as possible. So they provided fuel to the local utility company, whose equipment will now be able to dismantle the structures of the most emergency and unfit for repair buildings. Volunteers also joined in.

"Today we demonstrate an example for other organizations and offer everyone who cares to join similar actions. Because now the people who have decided to stay in Ukraine have neither the financial nor the physical ability to independently solve such large-scale issues as eliminating the consequences of hostilities in the regions. The local government also lacks the resources to quickly eliminate the problem. So we have to help!" - volunteer Natalia Prykhodko explained.

In turn, the head of the district Yuriy Bezpaly said that more than half a thousand houses in the community need dismantling and local repair.

"In our community, as of July 27, most of the houses need dismantling and dismantling of rubble, as well as repair of buildings with partial damage - windows, roofs, ceilings, fences, etc. This issue must be resolved as soon as possible, because summer is ending, and people need to have time to prepare their homes for the cold season," the headman emphasized.

The fund systematically helps the military and the civilian population during the war.

"Since the beginning of Russia's large-scale aggression against Ukraine, the Foundation has set itself the goal of supporting people who suffered as a result of hostilities, as well as military personnel who defend our homeland. We see our main mission as contributing to the active recovery of the country and helping people. And we are doing everything to fulfill this mission," emphasized Nataliya Prykhodko.
