Almost one and a half thousand families received psycho-emotional support at the "Recover" project

The Vadym Stolar Charitable Foundation held the seventh stage of the "Recover" project, which took place at the VitaPark Karpaty hotel in the village Zhdeniyevo, Zakarpattia region. Participants felt emotionally reset and tuned into positive change in a safe and comfortable place here.

"Our Fund provides psychological support to families who have lost a father or were left without a home due to hostilities within the framework of the project "Recover" already for the seventh time. We managed to help almost one and a half thousand families during the year and a half that the project has been going on. This is our contribution to the restoration of the physical and mental health of mothers and children, and therefore to the future of Ukraine", the founder of the Foundation Vadym Stolar said.

A volunteer of the Vadym Stolar Foundation Nataliia Prykhodko revealed the details of how psycho-emotional recovery takes place within the framework of the "Recover" project.

"The idea of the project was born when we, helping people across the country, saw and realized how many citizens needed emotional recovery. That is why my team and I came up with and implemented the "Recover" project. Its essence is not just rest of war-affected families in safe and picturesque places of Ukraine, although that is also important. Specialists (psychologists, art therapists, animators) work a lot with mothers and children. After all, first of all, we strive to help people morally reload, exhale, gain strength and strengthen their desire to move on",Nataliia Prykhodko said.

The Foundation says that there have been changes in the country and society during the year and a half that the "Renew" project has been running, that must be responded to.

"Now we observe that Ukrainians are getting more tired, emotionally burned out, they need more and more strength to live a full life and feel confident in society. And we need to make more and more efforts to help them in this. The seventh stage of "Recover" was quite difficult for us and gave us an understanding of what and how to change in order for our support to be even more effective", the Foundation said in a statement.
