On April 26, Saturday, at 3:00 PM in Kyiv, we invite you to a free excursion “Criminal Podil – the dark history of Kyiv”, which will take place as part of the “Meet: Kyiv!” project.
Every city has stories that it carefully hides from prying eyes and reveals only to the chosen ones. To learn about them, we will walk through special places in Podil, connected with criminal events of 150 years ago. And we will learn:
- how they made money on gullible pilgrims
- where the name thieves' “raspberry” came from;
- how you can make a fortune with a fur coat;
- how the police worked and who was the best assistant to a police officer.
Sounds exciting? Don’t miss the opportunity to look at the capital from the mysterious “dark” side and register for the excursion.

On the eve of the event, we will randomly select 10 winners (1 ticket = 2 people) who will visit it. We will additionally inform the tour participants about the location.
Important! IDPs, relatives of fallen defenders, and those who lost their homes due to the war can participate in the event.
