The Vadym Stolar Charitable Foundation has launched a new course "Psychodia" as a part of its psychological project. It is aimed at those who want to learn psychological self-help skills.
Video lectures within the course conducted by psychologist Iana Kobets and are published once a week. Two lessons are currently available for viewing: "What is fear and how to deal with it" and "How to help yourself during a panic attack".
"We all experience strong negative emotions during the war, that affect us in a destructive way. Unfortunately, not everyone has the opportunity to consult a qualified specialist in order to minimize the harmful effects of such emotional states. We created the practical course " Psychodia " precisely in order to help such people, which will help anyone who wants to master the skills of psychological self-help",Foundation volunteer Nataliia Prykhodko said.
"Our Foundation has provided people with not only physical and material, but also psycho-emotional assistance since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Our psychological project "Support", a part of which is the course "Psychodia", has been actively developing for the third year. I and the Foundation team are deeply convinced of the need for psychological assistance to Ukrainians, and we will continue to work in this direction", the Foundation's founder Vadym Stolar said.
The "Support" project includes a number of other initiatives in addition to the "Psychodia" course, and all of them are free for Ukrainians. "Resilience" is for people who are waiting for a defender, "Course about children - for mothers", as well as individual and group consultations and video advice from psychologists.
