How to appeal an MMC decision?

How to appeal an MMC decision?

How to appeal a decision of the Military Medical Commission (MMC) is an important issue addressed today by our Foundation’s lawyer, Kristina Prykhodko, in the “Video Advice” section of our ongoing project “Legal Advice.” This question is especially relevant for those who were mobilized without undergoing an MMC examination, without proper consideration of their actual health condition, or with procedural violations.

“Delaying means agreeing to a violation of your rights,” the expert emphasizes. She outlines two practical ways to protect them. The first is a pre-trial procedure — appealing the MMC decision to a higher-level MMC. The second is through the court.

In the video, Kristina explains under which circumstances it is better to choose a particular method of appeal, highlights the key nuances of each option, and shares examples of previous MMC and court decisions.

Listen to our lawyer’s explanation and be sure to share this important video.
