Representatives of the Foundation team point out that long-distance relationships for couples separated by war are a real challenge.
"Superhuman trials fell on the shoulders not only of our courageous defenders, but also on those who wait, support and inspire our soldiers: mothers, wives, children. Separation shifts priorities in a relationship, adds new problems to those that already exist. Many women need emotional support in order to survive and not lose their mental health from strong experiences - we held the first online meeting for them as part of the "Resilience" course at the end of January - a volunteer of the Foundation Nataliia Prykhodko says.
It is also very difficult for children whose parents are currently at the front. The second meeting was about how to help them adapt to changes and support them.
"The russian occupiers deprived our children of peace, normal sleep and opportunity to be close to their parents who went to defend the country. Instead, they filled their childhood with constant stress, fear for their lives and the lives of their relatives and worry for their parents who are now at war. It is necessary to talk about this with children, to help them go through such terrible trials", speaker of the "Resilience" course Iana Kobets emphasizes.
"Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, our Foundation has been actively helping the military. We deliver everything needed at the front, from equipment and shoulder bags to drones, cars and means of combating enemy drones. We also remember the families of defenders. We implement the large-scale project "Recover" for them for the second year in a row. And our new course "Resistance" is aimed at supporting those who are waiting for the return of loved ones from the front", - Vadym Stolar says.
