"The free ultrasound examination of the thyroid gland of IDP women is one more of the Foundation's initiatives aimed at supporting Ukrainians and their physical and moral recovery during the war. We consider such projects to be extremely important, because they, preserving the health of our people, become a guarantee of the future recovery of the nation and the reconstruction of the country," emphasized Natalia Prykhodko, a volunteer of the Vadym Stolar Foundation.
In general, IDP women participate in the project, and one of the leading clinics in the capital conducts ultrasound directly. After the examination, the specialist provides recommendations on further actions if they are necessary.
We understand, our indomitable ones, how much trouble has fallen on your fragile shoulders, and there is absolutely not enough time for yourself and checking your health. So we try to take care of you and your well-being whenever possible!
For reference: The Vadym Stolar Charitable Foundation is not the first to organize medical check-ups for war victims. In particular, free blood tests were previously conducted for residents of Kyiv region who survived the occupation, as well as mammography tests for IDP women to detect the risk of breast cancer. The total coverage of the Foundation's diagnostic projects is more than 300 citizens.
