"We constantly receive requests for help from Ukrainians in different parts of the country, from the military on the front lines, from doctors who save lives, and we always try to respond to them promptly. This time, diagnostic equipment was handed over to the doctors in response to a request from the Center of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery", a volunteer of the Foundation Nataliia Prykhodko said.
Among the transferred are complex diagnostic systems, namely: ultrasound system Aplio 500 and ultrasound system CX50 with a set of necessary sensors. Also, the Foundation purchased 10 smart televisions and 13 multifunctional devices for the needs of the patients of the medical facility.
"Our Center performs a very large number of operations and minimally invasive interventions on the heart and blood vessels of patients. Annually, we consult 25,000 patients with a cardiology profile, and perform open heart operations on almost 2,000 people. All this requires a lot of highly specialized equipment. We are very grateful to the Vadym Stolar Foundation for the opportunity to receive such high-class equipment, which will improve the level of diagnosis and the provision of medical care to all our patients", the Center's employee cardiologist Ievhen Marushko said.
"Our Foundation has been fruitfully cooperating with medical institutions since 2020. We provided systemic support to hospitals throughout Ukraine during the pandemic. The large-scale russian invasion prompted us to expand our activities, but helping doctors remains one of the important directions", the founder of the Foundation Vadym Stolar said
