Sometimes it feels like our newsfeed is a raging current — carrying us forward without pause, not letting us catch our breath or even take a moment to reflect.
We scroll, we read, we grieve, we mourn — and sometimes, for reasons unknown, we even smile.
And in the midst of it all, we can’t help but think back to the calm pace of life we once knew — a life that neither we, nor the world around us, will ever return to completely.
This new reality calls on us to be active, engaged, and forward-moving — the very spirit that drives our work at the Foundation.
And no matter how busy our week gets, we always take time to look back and share the initiatives that shaped the last seven days.
So, this past week, we:
• provided legal consultations as part of our Legal Advice project;
• stayed active with our Neighborhood Sports program, including Saturday exercises focused on back relief;
• collected questions from mothers ahead of an upcoming online session with a pediatrician within the Feminine Club;
• enjoyed the vibrant moments of the 10th stage of Recover Yourself, held this June;
• announced a tour of St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery as part of the Discover Kyiv project;
• created over 50 warm and sunny Ukrainian words as part of the Ukrainian Language Course;
• shared official safety advice from the Ministry of Internal Affairs on how to act in case of a potential explosion;
• published a new expert answer in our Ask a Psychologist column;
• teamed up with the Fondik project to invite kids to the “Treasure Hunt” quest;
• continued looking for “dream makers” for children from a kindergarten in Borodyanka through our Dream Fulfillment initiative;
• spotlighted actor and Ukrainian defender Yurii Felipenko in our Know Your Own project.
Friends, no matter what challenges life throws our way — let’s hold on.
Because if we stand strong and support our army — we’ll protect our country.
