Over one and a half thousand families received psycho-emotional support at the "Recover" project

The Vadym Stolar Charitable Foundation held the eighth stage of the "Recover" project, which took place at the VitaPark Polyana hotel in Zakarpattia Region. Its participants from among the families of defenders of Ukraine were able to receive necessary help, support and attention here.

This "Recover" stage took place according to slightly changed rules. In particular, the project team updated the list of categories of participants.

"This time, families waiting for their fathers from captivity, families whose fathers went missing and families of our heroes who died on the battlefield are participating in the project", a volunteer of the Foundation Nataliya Prykhodko said.

According to her, Ukraine has become the theme of this "Recover" summer season.

"We remembered our traditions and customs, made varenyky and wore national clothes. After all, it is very important to constantly remember our identity and not let the enemy erase our national code", the volunteer explained.

It should be noted that children and mothers not only rest at the project. Specialists work with them a lot - psychologists, art therapists, animators. However, there is also enough entertainment, which is so lacking for children these days. The team organizes themed holidays, concerts, contests, and even organizes a real hike in the mountains with tents and guitar singing for the participants.

And participants at the eighth stage of the project with the help of volunteers prepared and recorded a music track dedicated to "Recover".

"The project "Recover" will be two years old this summer. We were able to provide psychological support to more than one and a half thousand families during this time. The greatest inspiration and reward for us is to see how mothers and their children are emotionally reset during the project, get a second breath and new motivation for further life", the founder of the Foundation Vadym Stolar said.
