Our reality is hard and exhausting, but we continue on our path with dignity.

Over the past week, the enemy has relentlessly terrorized the Kyiv region with Shahed drones and attacked Odesa, Dnipro, Nikopol, Kharkiv, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Sumy. Its goal is to inflict as much harm and pain as possible and sow despair. It also seeks to bring life in Ukrainian cities to a standstill through constant air raid alerts.

Yes, it is difficult for us to adapt to these tactics, and finding the strength to keep going is becoming harder. But we continue moving forward. We work, study, take our children to school or kindergarten, and drink coffee to stay awake at work after a difficult night.

Perhaps we could all use this reminder right now: we do not have to be strong every minute. It is okay to feel tired, angry, or afraid, to expect less of ourselves, and to take a break when things get difficult.

We do not know what tomorrow will bring. But we know that today we can offer kind words to someone close to us, take care of ourselves, and do at least one simple thing that will make this day a little easier to get through.
