Friends, we would like to introduce you to Vika, the new heroine of the “Dreams Come True” project. Our little dreamer is from the city of Mykolaiv. She is a young athlete who is passionate about fencing. And she dreams of equipment – a case on wheels and special sneakers.
"We are from Nikolaev, we haven't left anywhere since the beginning of the Great War, we only lived for a while with my grandmother, not far away, 20 km from Nikolaev itself. What we experienced and continue to experience now is a horror that everyone from the front-line zones knows about. And now, schools were closed, people were leaving, it was so sad, scary. And the fencing school was the first thing that opened in our area! And so that the child could socialize, finally communicate with children, I sent my daughter to classes.
We didn't even think that it would grow into such a hobby. My daughter is very happy that she got to the fencing school, to the best coaches. She really likes fencing, but everything is very expensive. We can't buy everything new so that it is personal. We practice in a second-hand uniform, but it's not scary, but a cover on wheels and sneakers are very necessary. Thank you for at least trying bring us closer to our dreams!"
Ukrainian children today are the embodiment of resilience, courage and faith in Ukraine. And for the sake of their better future, we, with your help, friends, are trying very hard to support them.
If you are able to give Vika joy and buy her the necessary equipment, we will be happy to tell you how to do it. Please write to us in private messages.
