I did not think that it would "fly" to my Ivano-Frankivsk , but as a psychologist who has been working with refugees since 2014, I knew that those who procrastinate under such circumstances will either die or submit to the enemy in order to survive," - these are the words of Iryna Lukecha, who begins her story for "History of the Strong".

Mrs. Iryna says: "Since February 24, my children have been crying almost all the time... After three days of stress, I decided to take them to a safe place. I offered them to take so many things, as if we would never return..."
The way to the shelter was long and difficult. The woman recalls: "When I got out of the car in Warsaw near my sister's apartment, my fingers didn't bend, and my legs were shaking..."

"I volunteered for some time, and after the resumption of online education, I worked with my students at the university until June. In the summer, I already officially worked as a psychologist with Ukrainian refugees", says Ms. Iryna.
