Vadym Stolar: the "Recover" project is aimed at psycho-emotional support, it helped about 1000 Ukrainians during a year

The fifth stage of the large-scale project "Recover" was conducted by Vadym Stolar and his associates in August. The project is aimed at the psycho-emotional complex recovery of families who lost their homes or one of their parents due to the war. The founder of the Foundation, as well as volunteers and participants, spoke about the course of the program, the idea of its implementation, and the results.

Vadym Stolar: "Recover" embodies a comprehensive approach to psycho-emotional support of people

“The “Recover" is one of our largest projects aimed at supporting families who lost one of their parents or their home due to the war. It requires a lot of strength and resources and I am grateful to the team that implements it, creating an atmosphere of warmth and care for the participants”, says Vadym Stolar. “We all understand the importance of supporting those who have suffered heavy losses. So, we do everything we can to restore people's mental strength and help them to survive the pain of loss. The peace of mind of each person is the key to the health of the entire nation, so we will continue to implement the "Recover" to help as many Ukrainians as possible!"

As the patron emphasizes, an important feature of the project is its complexity, because the participants simultaneously immerse themselves in an atmosphere of comfort and safety in the best hotels in picturesque and safe corners of Ukraine. And at the same time, they receive qualified assistance from profile specialists. Thus, the effectiveness of the program to achieve its goals is significantly increased.

Vadym Stolar's team told the details of the 5th stage passing of the "Recover".

A volunteer of the Foundation Nataliia Prykhodko told that the first stage of the "Recover" took place in August 2022, and the project reached almost 1,000 people in a year.

"I personally came to see how the rehabilitation program is implemented in the new place, because we have not been to Truskavets yet. I talked to participants and received very emotional feedback, people felt a lot of relief during a week of staying in this picturesque place, communicating with art therapists and psychologists" she said.

According to the volunteer, it is very important to Vadym Stolar's team, because the participants of the "Recover" are families who lost their homes because of the war. And the most painful thing, participants are those who lost their father or mother.

"It is very difficult for these people, so we strive to create all conditions to give them solace, possibility to restore their mental balance and to find strength to live on. And I am sincerely grateful to these wonderful people who come to our project with the goal to get motivation to live in Ukraine, to work for the good of the motherland, to raise real patriots and future of the nation!" Nataliia Prykhodko said.

Vadym Stolar: We implement a number psycho-emotional recovery projects of Ukrainians, and plan new ones.

Vadym Stolar emphasizes that the "Recover" is the largest but not the only one project of his team, the goal of which is to improve psycho-emotional state of people during the war.

In particular, the "Psychological support" program has been operating for more than a year, created for broad segments of the population. Within its limits, everyone can get help and find inner balance in this difficult time. Moreover, thanks to the variety of formats (both offline and online) everyone can join the project.

In addition, Vadym Stolar announced the launch of the second grant program. And its central theme will be the psycho-emotional recovery of those who suffered from the war in Ukraine. The winners of the competition among public organizations, associations and foundations will receive 1 million hryvnias for the implementation of projects aimed specifically at improving emotional state of both military personnel and civilians with post-traumatic stress disorder and other disorders caused by combat operations.

Also, team of Vadym Stolar implements the project "Sport in District", which aims to support the physical condition of Ukrainians, and in addition contributes to psychological reset of people.

It is also worth to mention regular tours around Kyiv organized by volunteers for forced migrants who currently live in the capital, and Ukrainian language courses aimed at improving speaking skills of citizens who need it. These projects are also organized under the auspices of Vadym Stolar.
