The Vadym Stolar Charitable Foundation has already conducted the ninth stage of the "Recover" project, which provided assistance to people who suffered from russian air attacks. In total, more than 2,000 families were provided with psycho-emotional support within the framework of this project.
This time the event took place in the cozy resort hotel VitaPark Stary Dub, located in the picturesque town of Truskavets. Psychologists, art therapists, animators were working with parents and children. There was also a lot of entertainment for the little ones. The team organized themed holidays, concerts and interesting competitions.
"We provide psychological and emotional support in the "Recover" project from 2022 to families with children whose parents have died, were captured or have gone missing. And also, to families who were left without their native home. This time we expanded the project and invited people to take part in it who affected by russian air attacks, those whose relatives were killed or seriously injured, as well as those who lost their homes. The decision was made after large-scale russian shelling on July 8, 2024, when enemy missiles attacked several Ukrainian cities at once and caused destruction, in particular the Okhmatdyt medical center - the largest children's hospital in Ukraine", Foundation volunteer Nataliia Prykhodko said.
The founder of the Foundation Vadym Stolar announced the provision of assistance in the amount of 10,000,000 hryvnias the very next day after "Okhmatdyt" shelling. 5,000,000 hryvnias of which were transferred to the reconstruction of the children's hospital, and another 5,000,000 hryvnias were directed to psycho-emotional assistance to victims of air attacks within the framework of the "Recover" project, which was implemented.
"We see how much Ukrainians need psychological support, and we have been providing it within the framework of the "Recover" project for three years now. This initiative of the Foundation helps people affected by the war to overcome despair and find motivation to live on. This is exactly what we strive for and it motivates us to work in this direction as much as necessary", Vadym Stolar said.
