"I spent the night from February 23 to 24 at the warehouse, because in the morning a defining event for me was to take place... Night from February 23 to 24
"Tired, but satisfied, I fell asleep well past midnight. And somewhere around eight in the morning, I heard someone knocking on my door and at the same time the phone went off..." So the father came to Anton to tell him about the beginning of the war.
"I won't say that I didn't believe in a full-scale invasion, but at first it was predicted for January 16. And on the eve of this date, people bought various goods in our stores... But then the war never started. I even thought that it was such a PR move by entrepreneurs to sell out as much as possible," the man recalls.
Pride for fellow citizens
Together with his best friend, he decided to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: "We came to the military commissariat, and there was a long line! .. This impressed me so much, such pride for fellow citizens echoed in my heart! We were delighted with our people!"
But another friend, a military serviceman, refused because of his young age and lack of experience: "There will be no use for you there, we will only lose weapons and demoralize others, if you die... do what you can - you will make a good volunteer!"
